I've looked everywhere, but no luck.

There are only a couple of places I could have left it outside of my house - I checked those places... no capo. Not in any of the guitar cases I've used. Not in the bag I used to carry pedals, straps, cords, etc. Not on my music shelf/cart thing.

Does anyone know where I left it?

On a headstock? Last time I lost mine, it was still clipped to the headstock of my acoustic, which was since put in its case and forgotten about.

I had to look, but it's not clamped to any necks or headstocks...

That's not in in the photo. It's one of those brass Dunlop turn screw things.

Thanks for the ideas, but still no capo...

I'm a pretty messy person with no organizational skills, but one thing I never lose is my capo. Not because it's so important to me or anything, I just always seem to know exactly where it is.

If I run across your Shubb, while I'm looking for mine, I'll let you know.

Lost mine about 9 months ago, never found it. This is after I left it in Guatemala and had it shipped back to the states... Guess that thing just didn't like me.

Just the other day, I was thinking...."it would be nice to have two, for those times when I can't find it"....just like tuners.

Which brings to mind, I sure have a lot of hammers.:D At least I all ways have one, somewhere.

I can't even begin to guess how many duplicate tools I have. And Teflon tape... I'm always having to buy new when I need it. Then, a couple or three weeks down the road, I'll stumble across multiple rolls.

I've had the same capo for 40 years (Hamilton). These days I only use it for one song, "Lawyers, Guns and Money". That riff sounds better using cowboy chords at the first position. I used to play it in G and now play it A. Hence the capo on the second fret.

I lose my capo frequently, but not as often as my string winders (and I have at least three of those scattered about), or my glasses (which I have found more than once on my head).

I often leave those items in the basement shop where they get lost in plain sight (a la "The Purloined Letter").

I have your capo. If you want it back, put three sets of strings and a couple of picks in a brown paper bag and leave it under the tree in your front yard.
