I read that Better Call Saul scene was filmed inside an actual music store in Albuquerque.

But, yes, there are a lot of guitars as props. Back when I ran an antique store booth, a lot of stuff, including used guitars, were sold to film studio props people.

I've wondered this. Most of them I don't really like. There are a lot of products I have never seen on a stage. There are a lot of closets out there. Maybe they keep company with abandoned tennis rackets, bowling balls, easels...

I think they are "Rebranded" with a different guitar name that no one has ever heard of and sold in pawn shops at a premium price!:twisted::twisted:

Really wish I had taken the splurge at the time and bought this. It seemed unnecessary, and I already had enough guitars...so I thought. Now I have more.

yeah! a few years ago, my BIL's brother passed away. they cleared out all of his storage units and among piles of everything you can imagine was three electric guitars. 2 were danelectros and one was a squire that was made in Mexico.

Not actually friends, but I have met a few people in that mind set. One runs a small shop in the downtown area. She had a Strat copy in her window, nice enough condition, but confided in me that she didn't think it would sell because of a broken string. I talked her out of throwing it away.
