Anyone know of a source for these? Not looking to do the 500k/resistor trick. Thanks

I believe allparts has some 300k pots.........

and guitarelectronics.....

even amazon has some Bourns 300k's................

Perhaps they allparts or ge will meter a few and try to get some higher for you. I have some long shaft 300's that are almost 350........

Hope this helps.

I've got a bunch of pots that were supposed to be 500k but are out of spec, all between 350k and 400k. Splined shaft, but for a buck each plus postage you can have as many as you need and I'll throw in the brass sleeves to mount Tele-style knobs.

Genuine Fender 375k audio solid shaft pot. As used on the American Vintage Hot Rod 52 Telecaster. Manufactured by Alpha.

Fender 375k Audio Solid Shaft Pot # 0073133000

Not really related to OP's question but reminded me of something about the Hot Rod. Of all my fender guitars the taper on the Volume pot is o much smoother and even compared to the others.. Did I just get lucky or is it a different pot if you know?

That's the unique thing of the Hot Rod. To open it up, they went with a larger value volume pot. That's where I got the part number from for the 375...................used on the Hot Rod.

Thanks I realized right after posting this I only had to open it.. Was always under the impression that alpha pots were inferior..

That's what I generally use for my single coil guitars.
It's funny, I get tons of 500k pots with low values but seldom one over 500k.
