It seems it's usually the high E string that I break, and I'm tired of buying a new pack just to replace one string :)

Do you know where I can buy just single strings?

Pretty much any guitar shop where you would buy packs of strings. Our lone local shop, for instance, has single strings in various gauges underneath the counter. Ask the guy at the cash register.

I've got staggered pole pieces on one of my guitars so I usually think to buy a wound G string. That's one good use for singles. Lap steel guitar is another good use for singles since the various tunings all require different string gauges.

While you are at it, it would be good to figure out why that particular string keeps breaking. There's something going on there that probably could be easily fixed.

depends really much what set you're after .. Daddario NYXL doesn't come in single strings pack, I'd like to get quite some e's and b's .. they always the one that last less, love to get some extra's so I'd change just those out but not available ..

    in Europe we have https://lordofthestrings.com/en

I love these guys, as I buy John Pearse acoustic strings,
and also actually use their free picks too!
They are identical to Fender Mediums, which are my fave flatpick for acoustic guitar

    * their own label acoustic strings ( I've used PB and 80/20's a few times) are also a good deal

Once I learned how to troubleshoot broken strings, I have had few problems.
