Actually Romany is working with him now. She's on his newest track, Yes I have ghosts. Looks a lot like him.

That is too funny. Once again the dogs left the room. My belly hits from laughing

    I would love that on a t-shirt

Must be difficult to B7 when your dad is Dave Gilmour.

    GET it?

    It's not a G or an F.

    Get a book!

Her: "Hey Dad, teach me how to play Ariana Grande's new song."

Him: "Why do you want to play that? I'll teach you how to play Shine on You Crazy Diamond."

    Her: (Sighs)

DG can make a ukulele sound like a Stradivarius, I'd be afraid to hold a pick near him...but to her he's just Dad. What a great photo.

This is truth. But imo if you teach them their songs, no matter how p00py you think they are, they'll actually play their guitars.

Ask me how I know that. Also, ask me how to play Harry Styles songs. Ugh

looking at these pics again , I think its really cool that Dave decided to share these private moments on line. even if these were old photos ( the black strat was sold at auction)

the closest i'll ever get to this is, I have 2 of David Gilmours Guitar pics from on an Island tours

    the middle pick is his

I know how he feels. My 6 year old loves obladi-oblada so I learned it for her to sing to. I thought, 'OK, she'll like 'good day sunshine' maybe or 'all you need is love'. Nope, its those songs from Willy Wonka's chocolate factory next..

I love the long haired mid 70’s DG when the black Strat briefly had the rosewood fingerboard but he’s aged well. He looks very distinguished.

we gave our little fart a teddy ruxpin : she still has it , she single handedly wore out 3 cassettes in that thing of "let it bleed" by the stones then when some one asked her what her favorite song was at the age of 4 , expecting to hear something like the wheels on the bus , she replied "this is how you remind me" by nickleback
this how you remind me, was the very first words she printed after she learned her ABD's as she called them , Nickleback autographed that for her gave her a crew tee shirt and a full set of guitar picks, she has these framed on her wall,

When I was 15 and I had a copy of DSOTM with the sleeve photo of Dave with his hair and I knew that was the only way a rock star should look. I was imprisoned in an English boarding school and hair was illegal. Now I'm free, 41, and I'm keeping it real with my Dave hair and I don't give a f**k.

I'm sorry about your hair, Dave, but I'm keeping yours and my dream alive.
