Got this from a friend. Apparently this is not photoshop, or doctored. This is a real alligator caught on camera in Naples, FL by WINK news. The name seemed like a joke so I looked it up, and there actually is a WINK news station.

If this is seriously legit... holy crap. All I can think is- “oh HELL no.”

I think alligators have been around about 60 million years. Never mess with a gator, or let your pets near one. They are all over the place around here.

Somehow I don't think that trash is going to get picked up.

I'm a dyed in the wool northerner. When I was in Miami on business I would go fishing in the Everglades after work. I was casting from about 50 feet from the shoreline. I was definitely more scared of them then they were of me.

    perspective is (almost) everything.

Big gator, nonetheless. No saddle marks.

It's weird that there are only two pictures of it and no video. Huh.

It's a pretty safe assumption that any body of freshwater has gators in it here in Florida. There's a golf course pond in the yard and I've seen all sizes. Currently there's a 2ft little guy hanging out in it. Unfortunately, people love feeding them and they think it's cute to feed the little ones, but when an 8ft+ gator decides it wants a chip, well, they think that's less cute and a trapper is called and the gator ends up as gator bite appetizers. Its unfortunate for the gator, but most people dont care.

Blocked in my country, but I found it on youtube, thanks.
The perspective of the drone and the small trash can made me think it was bigger than it was.
It gives you the feeling of encountering a dinosaur though.
Other species of dinosaur are among us too, like the Coelacanth:
"Coelacanths were thought to have become extinct in the Late Cretaceous, around 66 million years ago, but were rediscovered in 1938 off the coast of South Africa." ,from Wikipedia.

Same with the bears out west. Gets me really riled up when I see people feeding or otherwise screwing with them. Somebody will eventually get hurt, or property will get damaged, and then there goes the bear. Like it’s his fault. He’s just being a bear.

I've always wanted to come back as a bear.

After seeing this, a gator might be a close second.

I can walk about 100 yds in any direction from my house and find a gator. We have retention ponds all over and gators habitat all of them. I tried to take my boys fishing in the pond behind my neighbors house last spring, and two baby gators kept trying to eat the bobbers.

As I understand it you have both crocodiles and alligators but call them all alligators. I googled it a while back.
