"Guess I gotta play 'em now..."
Also a joy, but definitely a change in mindset.
Yeah. Feels weird. The only changes I could make to my guitars are aesthetic right now, and I don't care enough to do it.
What? I have to wear white loafers now?
I'd rather break a guitar in order to avoid that!
Does this place really exist? For me it is a moving target!
I’m out of GAS for sure. Down to one electric: Fender Vintera Tele Deluxe in Mocha. I could not be happier.
Time to start modding pedals.
I strive for that.
It could happen.
Sounds like a beautiful thing.
28 pages of pedals on this website. I have plenty to do.
I'm pretty sure that's not what Pablo was thinking at that moment. Just sayin'.
I am there now. My friends tease me that I will soon start to actually play.
Instinct is telling me to look for a new guitar project however
There’s always something to change. Case in point. I have two Stratocasters, a CS ‘69 and an American Standard. I put VN pickups in the American Standard. They were quiet, but frankly, dull. On a whim, I just replaced everything with an Ultra Luxe loaded pickguard from Stratosphere. Four solder joints snd an hour of my time and it was done. It’s far from dull. Chimey, actually. Not twange like my CS ‘69. Good, right?
I still have a love/hate relationship with my Gretsch Anniversary. I’ve gotten past the mud switch thing with an equalizer. But I’m still wondering if I’d be better off with two individual volumes with treble bleed and a master tone in place of the master volume. Or should I just get everything new from TV Jones? That would cost as much installed as a new guitar.
I’m probably at the point where I should say enough already. But my brain doesn’t understand that concept. What a topic for a gear forum. Eh?
At Ease Men !
Time to get the amps perfected which will surely uncover a short coming of one of the guitars and the cycle goes on and on
“You’re not trying hard enough”
Ms. Nutz says the constant nuffing around is what we keep my senility at bay.
