Just to make this crazy times even more annoying there are hundreds of whatsapp stupid videos that i keep on receiving on many chats.

I wish i could have fun watching them like seems to happen with many people.

I miss sms message so much, unfortunately everyone asks for whatsapp which would be fine if all this crap wasn't happening.

    Cheers....

My brother in Germany keeps saying I should get WhatsApp but I've already got enough chat type programs. Not interested.

I totally understand you, the fact is that here in Italy basically everybody is using Whatsapp, probably it would be the same with other free chats if they work in the same way, i don't know really....

My wife loves WhatsApp. And she recently discovered TikTok.

She's constantly showing me videos on TikTok that she thinks are funny. I haven't laughed once. We have totally different senses of humor - I understand that. But watching videos of the mass public of people trying to be funny? Nope. Comedy is hard.

I agreee 100 % comedy is really hard, a friend just 5 minutes ago sent me 10 short videos of people having household accident, he seems to have a lot of fun watching it.....:cry:

I greatly dislike the proliferation of apps. Conversely, I greatly dislike 1 app being a de facto monopoly.

I also greatly dislike the term app.

    It's a losing battle.

You can't escape them. They are on the news all the time now as they have run out of ducks/dogs/chimps etc on skateboards.

I remember when app's were called programs or software.
    And tech was called hardware.
And the internet was called the World Wide Web (maybe that's an improvement). And I know the internet came before the WWW.
And only geeks had wi-fi at home.
    Ah, well!

    Short memory, huh? ;)

But you ran into another of my peeves. There's a lot of 'tech' that has nothing at all to do with computers. And geeks had ISDN or if they were really geeky, their own T1. I remember DARPAnet.

And while I'm at it, not everyone who makes money with computers in in IT. It's not a catch-all. :D
