Hey what do you call your telecaster? I don't have one right now but I've already named my future one. It shall be called Thor. Due to my scandinavian heritage. I'll actually just probably call it "my telecaster"

Call mine Blondie. Might seem a bit obvious but I refer to it as Blondie as often as i can to wind my Mrs up :)

(My Mrs. Is not fond of the nickname because the night I met her and walked her home I'd ermmm... entertained another lady earlier in the night. Being in a drunken state I asked them to input their numbers into my phone on my behalf - I couldn't remember their names so I labeled them Ginge and Blondie in order to distinguish between the two. It's still a sore subject!! )

Mine's just called 'the telly' coz there's only one in the house right now.

Same here .. tho my two ES Gibsons are called 'New Gibson' and 'Old Gibson' (Both are black).

I'm very excited to find out if that will happen my Tele or I'll go the color route instead (Brown Tele and Blonde Tele maybe??)

I've only named one, my Ampeg Tele is "Ol' Red", mainly because it's red, it was my first guitar that I bought in 1979, and it's been through the wringer over the years. ;-)

Same for me, I only name the ones I have made.
I don't call them by name or talk to them.

some of my guitars have names, some don't. The Logan tele type, made of Ash & Walnut (A&W...) had to be called Root Beer. An SG is called "Chavelita" (which is a nickname for Isabel...) otherwise, just by make or color or whatever...

+1...and by "make" I mean pull together the parts mostly through trades and then hand a bag of stuff over to someone more qualified than me...

This is my only guitar with a name. I call it "Duke" because when I spoke with Don Mare to order pickups, I said I wanted to get a Duke Levine tone. (Admittedly, the only occasion I'd ever get my guitar to sound like Duke Levine's is if we dropped our guitars at the same time.)
