the manufacturer can not claim the artistry and mastery of Robert Johnson's as their own.
I believe that Robert Johnson could have done just as well playing a Telecaster or a Stratocaster.

I know you posted this a while back so probably won't even see this...but just in case, where are you? I think this one possibly used to be mine in the late 80s/early 90s - it's the black speed knobs that give it away. I'm in the UK....Not that I can afford to buy it back, just interested to know where it ended up!

There are 2 that I have listed for and took a while to justify owning. A White Falcon and a Gibson SJ 200. Took me years to finally come to grips with owning these but I do and don’t regret it.

I'd love to try a Johnny Ramone Eastwood signature......if a good used example showed up I just might take it to rockaway beach.......

For decades I lusted after a Gibson Style-0 like the one Big Bill Broonzy played - the one that has the mandolin scroll horn.

Then I finally played a 1921 at Gruhn that I could *almost* afford. Biggest neck I ever tried to wrap my hand around, practically a table leg - and a really awkward shape for me to play overall. Broke my heart, but I still think they're cool looking beasts.

Just updating ( but not changing) my original 2108 posting, now that I have pics!

Jerry Garcia's 'Alligator Strat' and 'Wolf' ( Doug Irwin)
    * it's as much about the music ( and band sound) during this '70's era as much as the actual guitars:
