I like most of them but I've always been a CAR guy.
Faded Sonic Blue looks great with either Rosewood or Maple neck. I just ordered a CS MB '61 spec Strat in faded Sonic Blue.
Candy Apple Red! (As can be seen in my avatar.)
Then it would be:
Most of the blues, a good strong red, NOT Fiesta red, most of the golds are nice, and ocean turquoise.
Okay, so you and the guy that saw Rory Gallagher live, two people to hate now...
Lake Placid Blue. My Am Std is Mystic Blue. Lake Placid was not a choice at the time, anyway.
my favorites are Dakota Red and Surf Green. Oddly enough, I've never had a guitar in either one of those colors. The ones I have encountered that sounded and played the best, that I ended up buying, were neither. Maybe one day...
I have developed a soft spot for Olympic white (especially when it yellows with age), only because my number one guitar is that color.
I'm pretty fond of Seafoam Green.
Honestly, it's probably the Danish Pete purple.
Is that a tele neck pickup?
No, it has a humbucker in the neck. It makes this a really fun guitar to play.
Sea foam and surf green
Too many good colors to pick just one, but you eliminated black, and I love a black Tele with a black guard.
I do like the look of genuine heavily faded Sonic Blue and Fiesta Red, with the caveat that I would never actually pay for a factory relic job.
I generally dislike greens but there are some shades (I'm thinking vintage Gretsch anniversary) that I think look great on offsets.
Bada$$! I've got a sparkly green tele myself-but an RK build!
L P B
She’ll pink, and LPB are at the top of my list.
...the next one I buy!
Shell pink (1956 DeSoto color, not GM).
