Me and some of my friends where having this discussion a while ago. The question being; if you where to be stuck on a desert island for the rest of your life, and you could only have one album to listen to, what would that album be?

To elaborate further on this question. What is that one album (may not be your favorite) that you could always listen to from start to finish, no matter what mood your in, and never get bored of it?

Mine would be Ocean Machine: Biomech, by Devin Townsend
Thats not a name that gets mentiond alot on this site. But this album is a classic for me. From start to finish it immerses me in the music like no other album does.

So i ask you, what is your desert island record?

Toss up between 'Layla' and 'Exile on Main Street'. Either would do me quite well thank you.

    Sgt. Pepper's.

Just wish they'd included Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields as originally planned.

"Till Havs" (To Sea). Romantic Songs in Swedish by Jussi Björling. His voice is my favorite musical instrument of all time.

Captain Beefheart "Safe as milk" would do it for me.

    It could be something...anything...

    OR, it could be :

    SOMETHING/ANYTHING?, by Todd Rundgren

    besides, it's a double LP, so I'd get a two-fer:!:

(This is the LP that sealed the deal in making me a lifelong fan of Todd)
