Heading into the New Year always makes me take stock of what I've done & what I want to do.

    What about you?

    My Wish list of things I'd like to happen before I leave this earth;

    1. Be around for my 2 children's college graduation/marriage
    2. Surf Lessons from Laird Hamilton
    3. Play on stage with Tina Turner (hey, this is my dream!)
    4. Lunch with Valerie Bertinelli ( If you know her, could you let her know)
    5. Beachfront home
    6. Develop stronger relationships with family, especially older members.
    7. More of an effort to assist others
    8. Travel more
    9. Write a book
    10. Make a film

Mine evolves daily, but mostly it's about visiting places I haven't been to in Canada.

For me it's a long term list. With that said, the whole idea of a bucket list is to DO IT soon before.....

Often I put things off for other priorities, and find myself having passed on the opportunity to do something. I want to try to avoid doing that over & over.

Hey geardog, your list is so good maybe I'll adopt it except for #2.

By the way, I called Valerie and she wants to know if you'll let her try some of your dish
just to taste it. She said she really wasn't looking for another guitar player.

I called Tina and she asked if you could do a highly energetic dance while playing
a 9th chord for two hours. I told her you could.

BGTele, I appreciate you making both calls.

I still have a chance with Valerie because no one has ever called me a guitar player. :)

    Thanks for lying to Tina.

The 2 things I always wanted to do, but will never get to do,for obvious reasons, is to fly on the Concorde, and meet Eva Cassidy. Especially the second. So I will have to settle for playing steel in a really GOOD band ( almost impossible in Florida)

Eva Cassidy. There's a name you don't hear much but man, she was awesome!

I hate to say it but, I've done just about everything I've ever wanted to do in my life. Nothing too extravigant but I just don't feel compelled to chase dreams at this point in my life.

The thing you need to remember about dreams is, "you have to be asleep." I prefer being awake and doing all the cool things this gift of life allows. If I had to put something on a bucket list it might be sleeping with some incredibly gorgeous woman who acted like it was the best thing she ever had. LOL! Beyond that, I'm pretty happy with things just the way they are.

Don't like to tempt the fates by making plans. But, lately, I'm thinking I'd really like to learn how to do some real chicken' pickin'.

She is such a little cutie! And at 40 plus, she puts gals half her age to shame!

If you got her for lunch, I got dinner for her.

Not much anymore, I've been pretty lucky & managed to knock most of them off in one way or another. Plus I'm at a point where these things seem less important then they once did.
How ever I do have a few odds & ends

I would like to own a pair of real Clark's Desert Boots. Not the Vietnamese knock offs they sell now but a old comfy pair from the '60s.

I would like to play the Arutunian Trumpet Concerto; in public, with an accompanist..the whole ball of wax.

I would like to spend a summer in the UK with a Vespa type scooter for transport, Perhaps take a class at Oxford
