Has anyone else been able to figure out how to make the Bluetooth connection stable? The Firmware update is current (3.xx). I traced a few old internet discussions from the early days of Version 1.xx. The problem existed then. I'm using a Galaxy Note 20. That model is notorious for maintaining connections with devices. I've also heard of similar dropouts from iPhone users. I use my Mustang Mini with zero issues. It's hard to understand why the full size amp can't handle what the USB drive-sized headphone amp can.

I've had the Mustang GTX-100 since Feb 2020 and there has not been one instance where I automatically connected my Android phone to the amp via bluetooth. I've come to expect that I have to turn BT off on my phone, then turn it back on, then attempt connecting. And still, at times, I have to turn off the amp and turn it back on. I have not mastered the sequence of events that makes it connect automatically. And I do have the latest firmware, so I know that's not part of the problem.

I guess I am echoing your experience so I apologize for lack of solution. I use a Samsung Galaxy S9 to interface with the Fender Tone Community and download user tones.

Sorry to say that dodgy BT connectivity factored in heavily in my decision to flip the GTX.

I bought a Mustang GT40 in 2017 and a GTX100 last year. I’ve never has any BT issues at all. But - I have iPhones and iPads, not Android devices.
