Gaslamp, Seaport Villiage, take the ferry to Coronado (you can take your rental bike on the ferry too), Coronado Brewing Company on Orange Ave....

20 minutes north of all that, Ocean, Mission, and Pacific Beaches are all cool places. I love SD.

Day 1: Walked around Ocean Beach, did a little shopping on Newport Ave, scored a nice Hawaiian shirt at a thrift shop, and had some good Mexican for lunch. Then went to the Cabrillo National Monument and hiked around a bit. Rounded off the day at the beach on the Coronado Naval Base with our daughter, topped off with some pizzas and a campfire on the beach at sunset (Beach campfire bucket list item, check). Naval helicopters buzzing overhead, pretty cool. Awesome day overall. Getting ready for day 2 now.

Sounds like a great first day!

Hit up the Gas Lamp area and maybe take in a Padre game.

Brian Malarkey has a few restaurants around SD county. That could be a fun and a delicious time.

Hit up the Casbah for a little edge & dive to your music or definitely The belly Up. House Of Blues is cool too.

Welcome & have a gas!
