And I would try and find a red switch tip.
It's decided, the white pearl is going to stay! The only thing I might do is install a 4-way switch at some point, but I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
Thanks for all the replies!
I love it just the way it is.
Pearloid white pick guard looks classy over that pink finish.
I like it. I might have done aged pearl myself, but the white looks great
benson custom blues tele set p/u's
4 way switch reverse control plate bourn/duncan pots
sperzel locking tuners
walnut/walnut strat neck
Tortoise shell on shell pink or lake placid blue with a rosewood fretboard is about as hot as it gets.
It's beautiful. Love that pickguard on the pink (looks lacy).
It's a PeptoCaster!
Just wondering: Any parts "vintage?" - Did you write down what you put in it? - Did you already do the string intonation? [all the brass pieces are in the same place - Mine was a BEAR to set up but it was my first with that kind of bridge!] The pick guard kinda fits the vibe.
I have two "Aged" Shell pink MJT's.
One a light relic, no dings, just some soft nitro webbing (strat).
Single piece ASH 3.5 lbs.
With a New USA Professional neck.... and a Mann bridge!
Not shown, my MJT 6.5 lb Esquire.
My opinion.....replace with a White Pickguard, Let the Pink color be the Star
Not a color I'd want, but the pickguard is perfect for it. Don't change it.
I love this guitar, and the suggestion of a red switch tip for it is some kinda wonderful.
Warning: Click bait.
I for one like the pickguard.
I like pink, but my shirt is more of a salmon tint, with a little University of Tennessee orange ...
I think a Tele to match would be awesome....
Looks a little bumched up to me?
It needs to be ironed. ..
I have a matching pair of cargo shorts to complete my outfit...
The only way I would change the PG is for something lacier.
Or a Chastity Belt Motif
Nicely done; not changing mine either
