I love my #7. Then again, I also build furniture, so it gets used plenty.

I put some clear on the back cover today after a few goes at getting the stain similar....

getting ready to stick the magnets in.... don't forget to mark the magnets so you know which end to press in first.

seems to match ok for a cover I made out of a hardwood for an earlier bass job ... I had to thin it down a bit and match it..

easier than making one from similar wood to the body, for now... if I get a suitable piece of offcut in future I might make another... the beauty of patterns..:)

Shot the back yesterday and got a few clearcoats on it.
Damned if I know how to categorize this one.
Not metal exactly, not jazz, not country, etc.
It just is what it is I guess...
Reasonably certain I'm going to do black hardware on it tho.

Boxed it up, the best sounding chorus pedal I have including a DIY Arion from Nucleon FX, and an Analog Man chorus that's on my main board. Insane build, great sound!!

Pageant is tonight. Not finished but close enough for this one-horse town.

My latest cacophony of syphilis. The reason why I call it this, everything so far I have found through FB Marketplace apart from the body. It's all mismatched, apart from the tuners actually being genuine ESP to suit the neck that at some point went through a ceiling fan and had been snapped. The pickups I got from a local crackhead who wanted to meet me at a local fast food shop, and the bridge from another random person. I've tested the pickups and they both gave me readings so here's hoping they work.

My plan is to throw in a 3 way switch, with a on/off vol pot that I can switch into single coils as well.

It's all in a bit of fun.

When I left this last night it was nice and flat and 'masking tape and superglued' down for radiusing today. Might have to think of something else now

Take an old paint brush and boil some water, flip that over and paint it on well. Just leave it (don't clamp) until the next day. It should relax enough to glue on in THAT orientation, if it's already slotted that is. YMMV;)

Hi, No not slotted. I'd just ripped it from a thicker plank. I'll give it a go though. Ripped a bit of a plank of Birdseye maple, I'll see if that's still flat tomorrow.
