Bloody hell, Trev...saved by your razor sharp reflexes!

Something a little less hostile, a q-sawn Tasmanian myrtle/brigalow neck:

I cant stand snakes, I stayed at a friends place on the goldcoast a few years back and there were snake skin sheddings in the room when I got there, freaked me out and I couldn't sleep the whole time I was there.:)

Refractor is looking good, but now I need to decide what color for the finish. I was thinking trans blue, but I'm planning that for my next build, so wondering what you guys think? There is some subtle flame in maple, so I would like to try to highlight it. Maybe amber? I don't know.

One of my favorite for figured maple isn't often seen,I use it on sycamore, transparent emerald green. There's an SG here somewhere close but not exact. Just a thought ;)

Man I’m loving the look of this guitar. It looks so Alien with that big evil eye and strange curves. Nice one Rip!

Last week I posted the start of a bass cab. Finished it up today and it sounds great:) Had a 15" black widow, some scrap plywood, and old paint. IMG_20191121_132936237.jpg IMG_20191121_163038260.jpg IMG_20191121_164526999.jpg IMG_20191121_184024065.jpg

Thank you so much! That’s a ‘39 Hammond BC. It’s wasted beyond repair but I did make 2 guitar tops from flamed maple I reclaimed from the pedal set. It’s just about ready for the dump now. Here’s one of the guitars...
