Like a po-boy binding?
Dimmer packs for stage lighting. Have to attach the camloks. Two of these to go with the 200 amp three phase system I installed at Independent Shakespeare Company's new studio/theatre.
I tried looking that up and all I got were Deli's and Tulane University's Po Boy Festival.
I'm thinking of looking through Lowe's, Home Depot and Hobby Lobby for some molding to frame the top and pickup cavities as a faux binding. Guess that's po-boy binding.
Tightened up the grill cloth. Added feet, corners, and handles. All done.
Thank you so much!
That’s more or less what I had in mind—unconventional binding might have been a better term. But surely being in Mississippi, you guys got Po-boy shrimp sandwiches, right? Mmmmmm!
Claro Walnut river table is almost off my workbench. Yesterday I finished applying the water based poly. Sprayed it out of an automotive spray gun. Today I’ll attach the base and get it off my bench!
I wonder if a shellac base would work for that.
Here's the Maggie with the restuffed caps I posted about here. I did decide to do a short thread on it.
Maggie Tube Console Hifi
It was definitely worth *not* harvesting it for a guitar amp seeing my wife's reaction to hearing again.
when I bought this I was told it as New Guinea rosewood, I have a cold so I can’t smell if its a nice aroma or not
Anybody id it for me?
I’m pretty stoked for this one.
Not on MY workbench, but might be of interest here. I recently inherited my great grandfather’s fiddle that had hung on my great aunt’s wall for the last few decades collecting dust. All the glue joints were still very solid, and overall in good shape, and I just picked it up from the fiddle shop now put back into playable condition for the first time in more than fifty years. The sticker on the inside reads 1909.
There’s no wood like old wood! Well done.
+10 good hubby points for you, Rich! ( “here” is a dead link!)
Well there's me out clevering myself again. Here it is as a quote.
I'm in the left top corner just under Memphis. Po-Boy Sandwich's are available, but not as sought after as down by the coast. Every time I go to Florida or the Gulf Coast, I don't want to come back home.
So far, no more peel or flake off. As soon as I get some money I'll be going to the store for some Po-Boy....binding.
