Now that's some nice quilt *drool*

No longer on my bench as I took it into uni to acclimate for a couple of weeks prior term starting up again, but figured I'd peak your interest here.

A board of quarter sawn roasted flame maple 2" thick with enough to get 3 x 1 piece fender necks out of it.

A swamp ash 1 piece blank that's actually got flames going on!

The most birdseye'd bit of maple I've ever seen, again 1 piece neck size

Lastly a 2" block of "baked" big leaf maple that's got everything going on , on it. Flame, quilt, Birdseye and even a bit of burling. ... Expensive lump (£150) and I'm befuddled about what to use it for. One piece body, cut it into maybe 3 tops..just frame it like a work of art....

I'm sorry I have no images for you to see (yet) as I forgot to take some before dropping it off but I had to share my excitement here with people. My lovely wife's only comment was "and how much was that!"

Wait until she sees my £650 stew Mac order arrive :twisted::twisted::twisted:

Play it safe - we don't want bad things happen - can you still call up stew mac and have to the shipping address changed to the Uni?

Already shipped . I won't find myself waking up missing appendages since I worked hard this summer to get the funds together so it's kinda expected that I'll splurge ;)

Wow, that's a stunner. I'm a sucker for red guitars, and that's one of the prettiest reds I've seen. Neck sandwich is outstanding, too!

Remember to use two screws Deniz, otherwise the cap turns forever :)

Thank you mate! It took me longer than I planned but turned out really well. I never really wanted to have a shop that looked like a carpenter's place :)
