Ok, for today, actually I already finished it... A Dean Zelinski Taglair with Z-Glide neck.
I've got NOTHING in the shop after this! Now I have to pull weeds...

Today I tore down the stacked and stickered pile of lumber I had milled in 2021 and moved the bulk of it (ash) into my storage tent and the rest (walnut and a little spruce) into the shop. Two larger slabs of the spruce will become the top for an eating table on our three season porch and that also means being able to finally use my slab flattening setup in earnest for a real project. The base, made from reclaimed barn beam material already exists as it was under our kitchen table at the old property. The natural edge cherry top used there is now my desk. All of the ash is quite wide at about 18-20". The black walnut is all about 12" wide with very little sapwood.

Pictures?
Sorry, they were still in my phone when I made the original post...

Starting point...
IMG_4882.jpg

The two stacks to the right are all the ash (next to poplar that was already in the tent. I do not have room for this material "in" the shop. That ash is all 14-16" wide.
IMG_4883.jpg

All the walnut that came off first. This will go into the vertical lumber rack at the back of the shop with the walnut that is already there when I have some copious free moments to move it. All of the walnut is from our old property as is the ash and spruce. Well, the latter was the lower part of a big tree next to the neighbor's driveway that they gifted me.
IMG_4884.jpg

Some of the spruce added to the right. The rest went to the shop for an actual project...a table top for on our three seasons porch that will seat at least eight

What it's like...I have "sawdust drifts" in my shop right now...oy!

bought a second hand Nux MG300 and needed somekind of stand upon my amp that is standing / against the wall.
at first i use a little fold able guitar stand, but found this at the recycle store.
had to cut some pieces out to make it fit, but i like it this way.
it's a document/book stand

Going to glue some washers on where the tuners would be. My oldest son suggested in the middle of a couple washers, to screw in some hooks to hang cords.

On my work (dining room) table; I've used this toolbox for carrying gig gear (pedals, tubes, cables, tools, power strips, batteries, microphones etc.) since the early 90's if not before; recently one end of the handle pulled out, the rivet broke and lid plastic cracked around it. Who knew that old stickered toolboxes could induce nostalgia!, so I super-glued the plastic, ran a wire up through a washer on the under side, over the handle and back down through, snugged it all up and twisted the wire ends tight and clipped; quick and simple and it's all good to go for hopefully another 30+ years (hopefully me too!)

I built a 7 foot tall Sasquatch family for a motel/restaurant/gift shop up in Batchawana Bay, north of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. Technically it wasn’t on my workbench because it was too big to fit in the basement! I think it turned out well. People will have their pictures taken with it for many years to come, which is rather gratifying. 🙂
