Nice! :) One question: Where did you get it??

I've been watching Amazon for them but haven't seen any new listings. Last time they were available, the GAS nearly killed me but I didn't have the cash.

Hey FG, can you say where you bought this? Doesnt look as if Amazon has them any more.

    LOVE the green!

I was able to find it on Amazon. Just have to keep watch.
Luckily I was interested in a Green one.

Done playing with the Green Machine for the day.

Got the frets touched up and polished.
    Oiled the finger board.
Started working on the nut replacement.

Have a Tusq that will fit. Then, I found a bad issue.
The fingerboard was cut crooked where the nut joins it.
(Refer back to 1st page pic of empty nut slot)
Too much wood on the wound string side. Grrrrr...

Had to get a .002 metal shim to lay under a rasp file and level out the fretboard. Took hours. Finally got an even distance from the first fret to the nut across the fingerboard.

The distance matches the specs from my other short scales so I am satisfied. What a way to spend an afternoon.

Got the pot holes reamed out for CTS pots.
Then discovered that Dragonfire send me fine thread tone pots. Which won't fit the knobs I ordered. Crap...

However I have a plan to fall back on.
    .
I know people bag on Stewmac, but I never have problems with my orders from them.
    Never. Oh well.
    Lesson learned.

Gonna wire it up tomorrow. Watched a great YouTube Vid of a guy wiring up a Gretsch.
Really informative, and really liked his method.
I'm down with the project. Oh yeah...

Anyway, best NGD review that I have ever read. A model for future reviews.

    12 inch radius approx
    No compound
Similar to an Ibanez Hollow body IMO

    Pick Ups arrived today.
I realized I bought them from Guitar Madness...not Dragonfire.
    Oops.

Waxed the front and the headstock.
The Grovers add weight. Don't have any leather straps long enough to wear this one as low as I want. It neck dives with a regular strap.
What to do. Can't move the strap button.

Grover Deluxe Keystone Size would fit with conversion bushings. Cept' ... Mo Money.

Gotta think about this for awhile.

Noticed the Bridge Pick Up Bezel....
Way too high. Will have to file it down.

Made quick work of the bezel. Used my Fret Cutting tool and a rounded rasp file.
Got the shape really close to where it needs to be. Fine sanded it a little.
    Good to go.
Now I know why the strings were 3/8 " from the finger board!!!

I have guitar madness pickups in several of my guitars. I love them.

Also I had the strap button moved to the upper bout on my 335 copy, much more comfortable.
