    So...
    Here we go...
Read stories about them not making it thru shipping... mine was double boxed.
Lots of packing . Good Job.
Added in paperwork with contact info and date it was made...even a thank you note...and a cache of decent pics and a pick holder. Also a cloth cord. Untested.
Nice touch all around. Kudos to them.

    $139 Delivered.

    Finish = BEAUTIFUL.
Honestly...the triple binding and the fit and finish. Impeccable. Wow...just wow.
I looked it over really well again this morning. No overspray. No runs or blemishes. Anywhere. The after painted Headstock logo is the only weak point. It's under the clear coat. Looks good from a few feet away. I'll leave it. They did a good job. Their name stays.

A 335 type guitar would have been the last thing I would have guessed. I would have bet the farm that it was a half-scale stand-up poster of Mick Jagger! Looks like it's losing a lot of parts - what's going on there? Beautiful guitar BTW.

Understand...if your a modder...your paying for the Husk. PERIOD.

I was able to play mine outta da box.
    TUNED A WHOLE STEP DOWN.

Thru the Katana 50 Brown channel.
    Played some Sabbath tunes.
It was a blast...knew that it was a keeper.

Also knew that I could Dave Grohl this thing.

Strings were 3/8ths from the 17th fret.
Bridge Tone knob was jammed down and unturnable.

Realized that my fingers turned BLACK.
Maybe it was the War Pigs medley.

My avatar guitar was green (Kelly Green Candy color), at birth.
I also had a beautiful transparent green G&L Legacy Special.
    I still dig green guitars.
    Congratulations!

    Electronics...
Mini pots. Mini caps. Decent wiring job.
    The switch...actually a Real Switch.
Will use it in the rewire.

    The Good:
    For reals guys...the Neck.
Straight as an arrow. I checked the Truss Rod before I stripped it down.
    Just barely snugged. Impressive

The frets..All seated. Not one loose fret.
Used the fret rocker. Only 3 frets require slight leveling. Honestly...only one in the upper register needs a touch up to be level. Fret ends...All Crowned.
I had to check again this morning.
    Yep...Amazing.

    Fret Board...Indian Laurel? Very dry.
Have be careful while doing fretwork before oiling it. Dont wanna tape it for fear of damage.

    So...the Neck and Body...$139.

Ordered a Gotoh Tunomatic chrome bridge.

Wanted to go all black hardware.. but have Chrome Grovers that dropped right in.

Problem...the guitar is really light...even with the guts in it. Getting some neck dive. The headstock is too fat for a Wilkinson Keystone style set. Would have to order an extra long shaft set from stewmac with conversion bushings. Would cost about $50. Dont wanna invest that much cash.

I have a Dragonfire Gretsch Toaster set of Buckers coming in. CHROME.

I have a set of Dragonfire Alnico Two's also.

Have a bunch of Tusc huts and CTS pots and caps available.

    So there ya go folks.

Update for those following the set up process

After a few cups of coffee,
    Re-checked the frets,
7 out of 22 can benefit from a touch up filing.

    Numbers 3,4,8,10,12,14,16.

Gee, thanks a lot. I've managed my GAS for a hollow body or semi-hollow up to this point by reminding myself that I already have more than enough guitars and can't justify dropping even $349 for the Indonesian Ibanez. Then you go and show me this...

Good to hear from you FenderGyrl. I'll be curious to know how the the Dragonfire Gretsches sound. I haven't heard of that brand before. I've got an Epi 339 I need to change pickups in again (thinking p90s this time), you're inspiring me.
