I know who Coolidge is. I didn't imply she was a groupie; she was "his GF at the time."

King Crimson "Lament" ends with a cool bit:

"Starless" ends with one of the heaviest riffs ever, that starts on John Wetton's bass about a third of the way thru the song. That outro that has it's own outro. BTW, epic Bill Bruford content!

Again, admittedly I’m a Cars wonk. But you are spot on here. Even more impressive is David Robinsons fills.
It just leaves me wanting more as I mimic it on my steering wheel lol

Now that I think about RHCP, I seem to recall the outro on Sir Psycho Sexy is pretty cool

Feedback & Topper Headon. Wonderful. It's just the intro repeated but don't tell anyone!!!

Didn't mean to be correcting you - just adding that detail for those who might not know the story. That whole Delaney & Bonnie/Mad Dogs was pretty messy.

Pixies -- No. 13 Baby. Love the guitar riffs looping over each other to the fade.

I really like the ending on this live version of Doctor My Eyes.

Also another vote for Kid Charlemagne.

Tony Peluso’s guitar solo on the Carpenters’ Goodbye To Love is an outro that is a number in it’s own right. My all time favourite.

Forgotten Wuthering Heights, brilliant the way it just fades in under the strings and is suddenly the lead. The bars of five, (or 2 and 3) just add to it’s effect.
