I got my first Tele to play James Burton licks from Ricky Nelson records, but I've played everything imaginable on a Tele. Reggae, rockabilly, Jam Band, Folk-rock, Latin Jazz, blues...

My USACG blackguard style Tele with a Fred Stuart Blackguard bridge pickup and a Fralin stock neck pickup plugged into my pretty faithful 5E3 clone is pretty awesome. I've used that setup for almost every rehearsal and gig for the past several years.

I wasn't even sure if I even liked Teles until I got that amp!

52 RI tele with budz purebred pickups into a tweed deluxe. That's all I need. No pedals, just a cable.

Right now I'd say one of my Tele's through my ML HRDeville with a little compression and slap back delay/echo...

To the date, I've found my little bit of heaven with these two toys, er, tools: my modified Caliber Tele and my Vox AC15.
