Lyle is the name of most male skywaitresses.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

My favorite cheepie import wacky guitar name is Dot On Shaft. Yes--that is the actual name. Look:

Why not take the simple and direct approach, and just name it Cheep Guitars?

Either my initials (TC, or TMC if Turner Movie Classics allows it), or some kind of animal or mythical beast. Leviathan sounds cool.

I'll settle for 3% of gross sales, or a $10k buy.

I wonder if that wasn’t suppose to be some sort of graphic that got lost in translation. Years ago the varsity club at my H.S. ordered patches to celebrate some championship or other; it was a quartered shield w/ the school colors blue & white.
They drew it up with “B/W-B/W indicating what colors went where. They got back 100 patches neatly lettered B/W etc.

If you're familiar with Rolling Rock beer (Pencil-vanya, USA), you may be aware of the enigmatic '33' on the back of the paper label, visible from the inside of the green bottle. There have been many proposed explanations of the origin of this number, including it being the atomic number of arsenic, the 33 degrees of Scottish Rite Freemasonry, and age of Haysoos when he was crucified. But the truth is a print shop goof-up. There were several labels in draft form at the company, and each was identified by the number of words on the label. Each draft had that number written on the back of the paper they were printed on. When company management settled on the label with 33 words, they sent that to a print shop with their large order. When the labels returned, they discovered the 33 was printed on the back of each label. The boss shrugged, and said, "stick 'em on." And the rest is history.

I'm guessing Dot On Shaft is a reference to the dots on a guitar neck, but they probably used Google Translate and it lost some of the impact from the original Chinese.

Some old motorcycle company names would work...Shaw, Peerless, Shaw, Cyclone, Crocker...solid names.

    Puxutz

    Shiznit

    Fudner

I think I'd use Puxutz for the amplifiers, Shiznit for the pedals, and Fudner for the guitars, of course.

Peerless is an import guitar name.

I'm guessing 'Indian' may be a poor choice.

on one of my many trips to places in the far east in the 80s and 90s, I saw the following brand names on guitars in a shop--Splender, and Givson.

I’d pick a prestige name from the past, guitar or otherwise. Something like Stromberg, D’Angelico, Dusenberg, Abercrombie & Fitch...

Hey, check out my new Lehman Brothers guitar!
