What would be an "easy" Chet Atkins song?

After being in a Classic Rock cover band the last 15 years and getting sick of playing the same old dung over and over, I'm enjoying being part of an acoustic cafe trio sort of thing. I'm finally scratching my itch to fingerpick some tunes and wondering if there is even such a thing as an "easy" Chet song I could start working on?

A couple pretty standard songs come to mind. I would say either Windy and Warm or Freight Train.

Since it sounds like 6 guitars playing at once, it could be said there are no easy Chet songs.

I was thinking maybe Freight Train as the above poster stated.

Try one of his gospel songs. I learned a good portion of In the Garden a few years ago.

yeah Freight Train because the simple but strong, slyly whimsical melody really carries the tune, and the rest of it is just gravy

I wish i could play the easiest of chet 's song. Yakety axe is a bit difficult, but it doesn t involve the thumb / finger picking synchronisation usually associated with him.

Otherwise, I d point out merle travis, but he is doing with his thumb and index finger what i can t do with 4 of my right hand fingers.

then you ve got jerry reed,

where he tucks his index finger in his hand, because you know.... jerry reed.

Not easy but one of my very favorites, this is the only Chet Atkins version I found(it starts halfway through the video) the great
Marcel Dadi accompanies Chet. Dadi tragically died in the infamous Pan Am flight 800.

There are lots of people that posted their take of Chet's version, no one gets the "boom chuck" correct like Chet.
