    Cool!
Adam Schlesinger was brilliant, and blessedly prolific.
    I’m grateful.
    RIP, sir.

Mr. White: It is very important that you don’t stink today.
Lenny Haise: Hey, I make no guarantees.

    I love that movie!

His name as shown at the end of the film was simply T. B. Player (the bass player). No one ever spoke his name in the film.

Unless you were talking about “Wolfman” who filled in after T.B. joined the Marines.

i meant the funny guy. i believe he played a racoon wrangler in "Saving Silverman." he seems talented to me. i always thought he should have been more famous than he wound up being present day. he probably does not care about fame, or what i think.

The guy that played "The Bass Player" is Ethan Embry. He actually has a musical background. When he was a little squirt, he acted under the name Ethan Randall. (his true first and last names. Embry is a stage name) He's been in a lot of films, including Dutch, Empire Records, and Vegas Vacation. Seems like a nice, but quirky, guy.

That is Steve Zahn. He plays and sings on the HBO show Treme, if you ever get a chance to see it. I think he is hilarious.

I think someone is a little confused. Steve Zahn, who was also in Saving Silverman and Rescue Dawn, played the lead guitarist in That Thing You Do. Ethan Embry played the bass player. ;)

i announce myself as an example to the fallibility of homo sapien memory. if you would have asked me to bet every asset and penny i have, i would have wagered with complete certainty that Steve Zahn was the bass player in that movie.

    A very nice, underrated film.

I don't think it falls into the cult category, but maybe it does.

Who was the last guy to really kiss Liv Tyler's character?

    Dave Gamelgard? :D

    I always enjoy that movie.

    Mike :)

I just hope when Jimmy kept his LP Junior when he "upgraded" to his 12-string Ric.
