What was the first note for note solo you ever learned?

Ive seen a lot of threads on first songs. But recently I have been looking back through my playing evolution and started thinking abut the first note for note solo I ever really tackled. At first I thought it was Gloria but I really only faked that one. It was close but not really accurate. After much thought I realized that the first real solo I learned note for note was from Led Zeppelin 2 "Livin Lovin Maid." To be honest , I did have help from an instructor but mostly it was from wearing grooves in the album. What was your first real guitar solo?

I think ‘great king rat’ by queen. On a clean guitar. (No wah or overdrive then). Then possibly a clapton solo - maybe ‘let it rain’. I moved away from learning solos and went into learning scales.

This may have been a mistake in retrospect.

I remember I learned B.B. King's "The Thrill is Gone" and Audioslave's "Getaway Car" from tabs pretty early on.

I also recall stumbling on some licks from Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight", and sprinkling those throughout the song was my intro to improvisation ad fills.

Never learned any solo note for note but after hearing a bunch repeatedly I can usually cut/paste a reasonable facsimile.

It was either something from Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid” album or Johnny Winters’ “Second Winter”. I’m not sure. I was messing around with a lot of stuff back then.

Not to mention that my memory is now running more distortion than back in the days when it mostly featured glassy, shimmering cleans. :D

Either the first solo on Comfortably Numb or Alone Again by Dokken, can't remember which came first. I had a shredder guitar teacher back in the mid-'80s.

I’m sorry you must have mistaken me for somebody else, am I in the wrong place?

I will admit to playing the licks from Folsom Prison though...
