Im in that all too familiar bind... I’m deciding on whether or not to slap a trem on my tele build.

I’m a huge Pete Anderson fan (particularly his work from the 90s), and he seemed to like the strat style trems on his teles.

Maybe if I see some teles with trems I can knock some ideas loose. Can I see your trem teles?

Kahler on my bender/detuner Esquire. Can be strung from the bender/detuner, from the Kahler, or from any combination thereof.

It's apart for a repaint at the moment, but I have a pic from when I first put the main parts together..

I am using a Boss TR-2 at the moment, but it stays on my pedalboard. I don't put it on the guitar. Wait, what?

Gotta put the meta-narratives aside, gentlemen! If it sounds good it’s good!

I’ll be interested to see a few. I been tinkering with the idea of doing a single bucker Tele with a Strat trem set up.

I used the Super-vee Bladerunner on my profile guitar. Works pretty good though I rarely use it. DSCN0097.JPG

Ron K. suggested this trem to me just this very afternoon. Any additional thoughts on tuning stability?

It's getting a service, but I've got the Squier Cabronita Modified Tele with Bigsby. It's like eggs and bacon. Sure, they're great on their own, but together, there's something magic about a Bigsby on a Tele.

put a super vee on my strat and the tuning became atrocious. kept in on for a month trying to get it to work. had to take it off. don't let my experience dissuade you though, lots of people love theirs.

Tuning stability is ok with mine, but I have it set up to return to a neutral (flat) position that is not quite 'decked'.
