I used my $50 GC gift card to get a pair of 6L6 tubes for my Super Reverb, it doesn't need them yet. I was thinking about getting a pedal but then I was going to have to spend more out of pocket vs about an extra $15 for the tubes.

Another vote here for a quality tuner . If u don’t have one . A bunch of good strings is always a plus

You could buy a serviceable ukulele for around that much. I enjoy sucking at several different instruments. In fact, I’m talented enough to suck at virtually all stringed instruments.

I used my GC gift card as partial payment on this Marshall Jubilee.

Extra capo, compact folding stand, gig bag, usb interface, nice strap…

(Some >$100 but it’ll put a dent in it!)

I have been in this situation more than a few times....I always put it towards something and let the giver know what I got. I like the Blackstar Fly and EQ pedal ideas.
One thing I got for $100 that is still very relevant for me is a Zoom MS-50 multi effects pedal. Check it out

Buy yourself a few good fake books. That’s what I did. I’ve got Bluegrass, Country and Rock. Heck, by me a few good fake books🙂
