Welcome. Wow - quite a collection you've got there.

You've got a buyer for that G&L SC-2. It would complement my SB-2. Oh, and that Paisley Tele sounds nice.
So that's two I can help unburden you.

P.S. Pictures are mandatory! ... or it didn't happen.

The SC-2 would be first in the list to go. It does sound amazing, and is super clean, but I just can’t get along with most Strat-style trems.

I think about downsizing too, but that's about as far as I get. I like my toys!

I thought all 80's SC-2's had fixed bridge?
If it has a tremolo, try fitting 5 springs (2 more than standard).
The trem will then act more like a fixed bridge. You may like it then.

Nah, they came in both varieties - look to your left ;)
Early models only had 2 (hefty) springs so adding more isn't possible, tho tightening the trem claw screws would easily do the trick.

How come you didn't list any pedals?

PS - Let us know if you're going to unload that Gretsch Anniversary Jr

    Welcome!

Yeah, that's a fair pile of guitars. I wouldn't totally liquidate, but moving some out to make room and/or finance fewer & nicer guitars is a time-honored tradition when players reach a certain age. ;-)

Whats wrong with what you got that you need a "good" one? If none of these are very good I Guess you might as well sell them. Or fix them if they need something or a setup. I did just get a truly good acoustic and I think I will be selling off a few old ones now. What is it you want to get? Then compare that to your current list but be sure the new is actually better or at least prettier as opposed to just more expensive. :)

Get a nice Tele that suits you.
Sell all the guitars except the Rickenbacker.

OK, pedals: an older Polytune, a Grier Lightspeed, a Boss compressor, a Boss/Waza chorus, a mini Way Huge Aqua Puss, and a Strymon Flint.

Not on the board at this point: a Piedmont Electronics Aluminum Falcon, an EHX Micro Pog, and a homemade Fuzz

He's only just come on board.
Professor Bill thinks that 18 guitars and 3 amps is too many.
    Give him time.

If the MIJ paisley and MJT esquire aren't meeting your telecaster aspirations those would be the first I would let go. Have you considered using the esquire as a platform for Nocaster pickups, pick guard and wiring harness?
