it's a pedeggTM.
It's all a load of old cobblers, imo.
I think they are forms for leather. For making shoes but that's just a guess. The dinglehopper theory sounds a lot more solid to me.
I really don't have a badge but isn't it cobbler, and wouldn't dinglebobber work better as a description than dinglehopper, which is a fork of some kind? OK, I'm done here, I'll just wait for BigDaddy LH, and Kelnet. They'll know, they always know.
its a beer bottle opener with a scrotum
We were waiting for LH to say that!
That's not a hanger, it's a dangler. A dinglehopperdangler.
It used to be included, but now you have to buy the dinglehopperdangler separately - what a rip-off!
Go for the dingleberryhopperdangler - they're all included, so you still get 'em for free.
Oh, once you showed the 2 separate pieces it became obvious that it's a Universal Left hand Doohickey Thingy
Be sure to buy original replacements though, the Chinese knock-offs don't line up right and are cheaply made.
So now that you own some of the tools of the trade, will you learn shoe repair? Perhaps you could specialize in "shoe mods". Putting the heels from one sort of shoe on another, or all kinds of crazy designs you could sell here at the forum.
I almost spit out my coffee on this one.
If Toto'sDad dad is right, it's a dinglebobberdangler.
Found it!! (Actually, my wife Lori found it. She's been quite enjoying this thread.)
You're missing the dinglehopperholder.
Dinglehopper you say, was this before or after he owned the flying circus? Go ahead and mull this over, I'll wait.. it is kind of a stretch.
Maybe I will. We seem to have a horde of dinglehopper maestros here, so I'm confident I can get help if I get stuck. Did you want a pair of clogs or Kiss Ace Frehley stage shoes? They'll be a stitch to stitch build with vintage shoe laces.
I wonder if they make one in CAR?
Lorinet is correct about the Shine Butler, but that is not what the previous homeowner used it for.
Do you people really not know?
Lorinet. I like that. She'll be very pleased.
