image.jpeg So, I bought a house a while back and the garage workbench has this strange tool on the edge. No one I've shown it to knows what it is. Home Depot and Lowes couldn't tell me either. Anyone here familiar with this gizmo?

My first thought was that it's a small sized armored codpiece. Isn't that the same as a 'dinglehopper'? :)

Seriously though, I can't find anyone who can tell me what it really is.

Notice the detail at the top. Probably an original dinglehopper.

If it has a NITRO Finish, definitely an Original, American Made Dinglehopper.

How long does it run before you have to re-charge it?

I learned something today. I'm ashamed to admit I thought it was a flugenverter.

Note to self: leave behind a couple of random things if I ever sell the house, just to mess with the new owners.

After we lived in our 1926 Craftsman house for maybe ten years, we noticed that the bottom step to the basement lifted up, exposing a small hiding place.

does the hanging piece come off? and does it connect to the part fashioned to the bench

if so...what i think it is is...if youre using a power tool...you slip the cord through the hole on the hanging part and then connect it to the part screwed to the side of the bench...this way it keeps the cord out of the way for safety reasons so it cannot be cut
