Err...I haven't played a Tele yet today, but seeing as it's only 5pm now and it's JAM NIGHT, that problem will shortly be overcome. :D

    Probably this one, tonight...

I played this one this morning for a few minutes before I went to work. I've got to get some better picture of this baby. It's my '73... all original except for a refret. Man I love this guitar.

This 'un, through a Twin Reissue, a Boss ME 50 just for the volume pedal, linked with these nice easy to assemble cables from Bill and Becky Lawrence.

    Thanks, Becky!

This "Test-squire" don't need no steenking caps or pots, no, nuh-uh.

Oh, it has a Keystone in it also; the SD is outta there!

That's really nice - I love that meandering grain behind the bridge.

Played my '07 MIM Std this evening ... she had a bit o' fret sprout, so I hit 'er wit me old bastard file (heh, I like saying bastard, heh), then took 'er for a spin. I like the fact that this guitar is completely different from my Hot Rod '52 - I think, with my vast, I mean nonexistent Tele knowledge & exp, that they complement eachother nicely.

Just got back from a 3 1/2 hour rehearsal session trying out a new drummer. Played my Squier most of the night except for like 20mins at the end I swapped to my 62 reissue Esquire. Good fun, haven't had a chance to crank my amp up for ages so I may have goofed off playing solos and making noise a bit too much but it was a fun night and the drummer looks very promising.
