What string gauge do you prefer on a tele?

I don't know. I've only ever had 10-46s on 'em.

Just ordered EB Beefy Slinkies (11-52) for my Eb Tele with a bigsby. 10's are too light for this one.

I'm contemplating tuning one of my other guitars to open G (with low D) - might try the same set there too
