From experience:
If you buy that Black Coffee distortion pedal you'll always know that any future pedal you may purchase will be better.
Actually I got that one to sound good, but it depends what amp and speaker you use. Sounds like crap with small amps/small speakers. You need 3 band eq too. I think I had the amp set clean.

I have the big 18v Cool Cat Chorus from back in the 90’s it’s cool! 😎
My first pedal :)

All the chorus I'll ever want or need.

I have a Spring King, which has its uses, but is no Surfy Bear. Subtle or 'Klang<broken amp>Dripsplash<broken amp>psychosurf' The in-between settings are OK, but subtle or silly are its forte.
The cheapo plastic models were a bargain for home use. I have the overdrive and distortion models. Sonically as good as anything else in the low price bracket.
One I really wanted at the time, and still hanker for, is the Reel Echo.

Respectfully, I don’t think everything’s in the title. Usually when people want to buy things, they start with a particular need that they’re trying to fill. More specific to guitar players and pedals — usually when somebody is looking to buy a pedal it’s because there is a sound that they want that they don’t (yet) feel they have.

Here, there’s clearly something else going on. You are starting with a brand and going from there. Why? I don’t know. Maybe you don’t know — but I’m betting that you do. Maybe you like the way they look. Maybe someone you know can hook you up with some Dan-o pedals and you’re wondering which ones to ask for. If it’s the former and you are looking to obtain guitar petals because you think they look cool, I think that’s silly. Understand — I am NOT calling YOU silly.

Without more information, my answer is the same as radiocasters; I wouldn’t recommend any Danelectro pedals.
I have a bit of money and wondered

and i am silly.

I’ll second the Tuna Melt. I’ve had one for nearly 15 years, been gigged regularly. Sounds great, it’s the tremolo sound I prefer.

I bought a used Fish n Chips EQ pedal as low cost alternative to the more popular brands. Works just great and is a bit smaller size

Recently bought an older Dan Echo. Sounds great, is a decent analog delay. Is a little larger and heavier than expected. I think it looks cool too, great color.

The food theme slapback pedal.
Because it sounded decent for $20 or whatever.

The wah pedals with car paint jobs.
Never owned one, but they sure look cool.

I have a V.1 Daddy O, somewhere in the stash. I always thought it was a good sounding pedal way back when I was using it. But you know how it goes: gotta try every new “game changer” pedal that comes along and you forget about the ones you already have that are as good or better than the new ones.

None. The jacks are all crap on the old ones and the new ones are overpriced with many better options available. And I love Danelectro. Just wouldn’t buy any pedals or guitars made after the 90’s reissues.

Everything is in the title.

Another thumb's up for the DanEcho, I've used these for a long time and imo they replicate a tape echo very well. However like others in this line, the jack out is soldered direct to the circuit board so is susceptible to connection breakage if accidentally stepping on your cable end (which I did once.) These can be found used for $35-50 bucks or so. Other than the jack issue, they're built like a tank, pretty hefty.

If I had to pick one Danelectro pedal, it would be their 18V Cool Cat chorus pedals... the old metal cased one.

I haven't needed a chorus lately, so it hasn't been on my board. The pedal's only "flaw" is that it is heavy- it probably weighs 2x or 3x that of a Boss pedal. That makes my board top-heavy which I guess is a personal problem.

Anyway, I also had the old metal-cased Fab-tone (distortion) and Dan-Echo (delay). I think those are great too. But again, they are kind of heavy...

I like these too, I've had four or five and traded or gave them to friends, I'm keeping the one I have now. I've never had one fail. Also, the French toast is a heinous little beast.
