Sorry I'm late to the party?..
The last verse of this should do the trick. .

I figure the honor guard is going to play taps. I don't think they do requests.

Wow, little brother, I didn't realize you'd commented on this thread so close to leaving us. I think we managed to get most of these on your play list (March 20, 2009). Still missing you today. (jeffallwood--commented on March 5, 2009, passed away March 20, 2009.)

We went to an atheist's funeral a couple of years ago, and the last song as he went behind the curtain was "Always look on the bright side of life". Another one, a long-time successful local muso, went out to Knofler's version of "Going Home". I was so impressed I used the original Dvorak version for my mother.

'O Fortuna!' as the hearse pulls up
'It makes no difference ( The Band ) ' as I'm carried forward
'I Can Tell ( Johnny Kidd version ) ' post eulogy
'Ode to joy ( Beethoven 9th ) ' as the curtains open and I slide to a fiery oblivion.

    Four of my favourites.

I was at a bluegrass pickin' friends funeral and they did "Farther Along" and "I Am a Pilgrim" - I thought that was nice
Another musician friend Butch Baldassari had "For the Beauty of the Earth" played, nice

For me "You Can't Always Get What you Want"

I believe it will be a not so solemn occasion with few in attendance, so let's have a laugh.
