Thanks! I was just going to ask what the ratio was. I'm a tea drinker of many quality levels so I'm just fine with drinking little bits of leaves in stuff.

Is your lemonade the usual 6 lemons per 2qt (2L) water, teaspoon of sugar?

My mother has claimed that for a long time she would mash up beans and add them to things just to spite me. I try not to think about it.

Wine, I guess. Which is kind of surprising. I mean, why wouldn't something made from rotting fruit taste delicious?

I never could stand anything in the melon family, if the juice of it gets in anything I am eating I can tell and it makes me nauseous. I don’t know how the distaste for foods get passed on from generation to generation but many of my family can’t stand melons either.

I drank a bottle of 5-star brandy, one afternoon, in 1973. The smell of it gives me the shudders, even today.

I don't do chicken at all.
Anytime someone is talking about eating strange things: frog legs, rattlesnake, gator, they always say, "it tastes just like chicken. "

There's a reason they call it foul. (fowl, whatever)

I'll eat just about anything. There are a few things I'm not fond of:

    Okra (ok in gumbo)
    Fried green tomatoes
    Cantaloupe
Goat cheese...that fresh chevre stuff. It smells like old, wet goat. Feta is a goat cheese and I love it, different process.

    The cilantro-lemonade sounds good.

Well: Grapefruit and Bourbon are about the only two I can think of actually. Oh, and chamomile anything, and marshmallows now that I think of it.
Grapefruit flavored beer is maybe the worst booze idea I could have come up with, I wouldn't drink it on a dare. I like a good Scotch or Irish whiskey, but corn liquor is just bad. Sorry.

Seafood. Any kind. Shrimp, fish, don't care. The smell, taste, and texture are all horrible.

To a lesser extent, tomatoes. I can deal with them in a sauce or something but chunks are a big no no for me.

Fish. Tuna, salmon, fish sticks, cod, Whiting, trout, all of it. I could do it when I was in grade school, then about age 10 it started tasting awful.
I like crab, lobster, shrimp, etc, but hate fish.

I'm not overly fond of lamb. I love ham and ribs, but pork chops are, in my opinion a delicious animal cooked wrong.

I dont like regular domestic beer. I vaguely remember using it to stay drunk a long time ago, after killians and jack got me to a place I wouldn't remember. I'm not really fond of beer at all, since I drink so rarely I make sure to grab things I like; whiskey, bourbon, warming sorts of things.

    Also cooked carrots.

Same here. Violently despise ketchup. It smells like death.

HAHA, wow, same here. I don't get it. I can eat it but opt not to. Some people go crazy for mushrooms on pizza. So, I always have a slice, and then I am like 'huh??? I don't even taste the mushrooms! There's no taste!'

Man, I don't know  I just eyeball it and I don't usually make large batches; just enough for a few drinks. Your numbers seem about right, though I probably use more sugar. I'd say just make it your way and add cilantro till you get the color right, and adjust that amount to taste.

It really can't come out bad ;)

    "Salted caramel."

Give me salt, or give me caramel, please. I don't want salt chunks on my sweets. WTF is with this yuppie-hipster nonsense?

You will want to know that you made our weekend. My wife grows a bundles of cilantro, mint, and basil. I just informed her and my daughter of it and they both thought for a second or two, but then they 'saw the light' and they think it could be quite delicious. Will try it tomorrow, thanks for sharing.
