I have been researching Nick Drake and I was curious if there are any currently produced guitars that are assembled (material, glue, frets, size, etc.) the same way as the Levin LS-18.

A Redditor recommended a Martin D-18 and European makers like Eko, Framus, or Hofner. However, the Redditor suggested "looking for vintage model(s) from these years."

Opinions, thoughts? I know the guitar does not dictate the whole tone. There's an amazing video that displays how to achieve his tone here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzdQE3fJW2E

    Cheers!

This seems to give most of the specs for that guitar. Some things are notable - flamed maple back and sides instead of mahogany or rose, short Martin scale (630 mm) instead of long, bolt on neck instead of a dovetail. I didn't compare the body measurements - you can easily do that

Don't know of any guitars built quite to those specs but it sure could be done as a custom.
