what machine heads fit this fender neck

    I have Gotoh vintage locking tuners on all my Tele's and love them. Note Gotoh offers two types of vintage locking tuners, I have the type with the knob on the back.

    9.2 mm or something like that. That's what I am saying. "Kluson" means different things in Europe than in North America. Different brands use different dimensions - except when they don't.

    The guys who are speaking in generalities, have not actually installed replacement machines in a neck like yours.

    I can't eyeball those gold plated tuning machines. I think they're not the Gotohs, but I am not sure. Btw, please don't choose gold. They look bad in no time.

    I believe these necks have 9.2mm holes for Pings.
    Gotoh SD91 retail package come with an extra set of 9.2mm bushes specifically for compatibility with Fender non-US necks with vintage tuners.
