What kind of dog is this?

    The only thing to be said with certainty is it's overweight and brindle.

    Boxers get brindle too...

    The facial appearance from the fuzzy shot makes it look a little like a neoplolitan mastiff... They too are like candidtates for being brindle...

    However.. it's definately a mixed breed... and should be taken care of by animal control...

    Mutant squirrels, Bigfoot, UFO's, why are the photographs of these things just bad enough that you can't quite tell. :lol:

    That big head/neck profile actually looks like my former neighbors English Bulldog (they do come in brindle variations). A very sweet dog with strangers. But always be cautious with strays.

    On a final note I can assure you that it definitely is NOT a greyhound. As an owner of 3 brindles I think I qualify as a semi-expert on that breed. ;)

    They don't call it the Bluff City for nothin'
    Basenjis and Staffordshire Terriers can be brindled as well(though that dog doesn't appear to have either of those in it).
    If it has a purple tounge, it's mean as a snake and can't be trusted.
