I grew up with my first telecaster and I just couldn't stand the lack of bass of shorter scaled guitars. Love Fender, always had, always will..
I just love to fiddle around playing bass lines and melody and I find a good bassy guitar is what I really like, real low end big and bold.

That doesn't mean I'm not sensible to the clear highs and articulate unmuddy highs, and maybe that is why the telecaster has always been my prefered guitar model that was affordable.

For the same reason I like single coil because to me, they are more dynamic (even for the bass) and less compressed than humbucking pups.

So what is your TOP 2 most bassy and resonnant fender telecasters that you own?

1.1981 regular telecaster MIA maple brown burst
2.1985 contemporary telecaster MIJ rw piano black laquer
