For that, you get two cookies!
I gotta admit BT, I think knowing your type would be of interest. It could bring this thread to another level.
My type is IDGAF
alright you layabouts, fall in!
"In your social circle, you are often the one who contacts your friends and initiates activities."
...I'm sorry--in my what?
I just took it again. the two times before I was INFP. Now I am INFJ. The difference in the Perceiving and Judging is 4 points. So it really hasn't changed imo. I am now an Advocate instead of an Artist.
which still got you a better score than Frank Gore, who reportedly broke the test with a score they did not think was possible. (hint: it was not a high score.)
I kind of like the Keirsey Bates test. When I was a teacher (in my wayward youth) I let all the kids take it and they loved it. We used it for a bunch of writing and thinking exercises... Kids LOVE to think about themselves and they love to kind of work at understanding themselves. I've taken all of them many times, one thing a shrink friend of mine told me was that a modest goal is to achieve X.
There are 20 questions for each of the four letters.. if you are 20-0 on a topic (not hard to figure out) you should probably consider working on it. When you hit 10-10 you are X. One of my goals has been to X out what used to be a very strong J.
Granted, you can answer unfaithfully and game it, but if you play straight it can be an okay growth tool IYAM.
the people who know about this stuff would say that is very good. (the close score)
I imagine certain things would change some ones type, like....victim of a crime, a major loss of assets, death of a loved one, a cheating spouse, ...etc.
I used to know and didn’t care. Now I don’t know and don’t care. Whatever I am, it works really well with whatever my wife is, and after 35 years and, if we’re lucky, another 20-30, that’s really all that matters.
You Sir have a grasp on what is really important.
Interesting...so many “IN” here. Introvert, intuitive...not surprising though...
Ha! I don’t know how that works but I’m introverted EVERYTHING
I didn’t even really start talking or socializing till a couple years ago
I prefer to be introverted and ALONE, just how I am
Someone mentioned sensitive and shy, yes please...... that’s me
I think it's because we (introverts) are more likely to geek out on guitars than those pesky extroverts.
honestly this stuff reminds me of those ladies' magazines:
"WHAT'S YOUR LOVE IQ? TAKE OUR QUIZ AND FIND OUT!!"
Which personality type is most likely to reject junk science like the Myers-Briggs? I'm that one.
I haven’t seen a course on this in years. Like maybe the last one in 2005 or so. Now the courses are about topics I cannot discuss here much without running afoul of the rules…..LOL
