Didn't really learn to use a computer till the mid to late '90s. Most people a little younger than me had them from birth.
Didn't get my first cel phone till about 2006. It was a used Motorola Razor from 2004, and it lasted me 6 or 8 years, IIRC. First iPhone ("smart phone") in late 2014 (a 5C 16 gig model), and I still have it.
I learned to drive a stick, and unless I have to drive something else for work or whatever, it's still all I drive.
I open doors for people, shake their hands firmly, offer them my seat, and look at them when I speak to them.

Pedal tuners weren't "a thing" when I was learning music. I had a tuning fork, a pitch pipe later, and later still, a Boss plug-in tuner (that wasn't a pedal). Still have it; still my favorite tuner. Got my first tuner pedal in 2012 (my bandmate got it for me because he insisted on it). Yup, you guessed it. I still have it. Pedal tuners are the greatest innovation in music gear since the high-powered piggyback amplifier.
Entered the military in time of peace. Stayed in as we entered a time of war. Did my 8 years, got out, learned a new trade, established a career in that trade...and that war is still going on. If I had started early with having kids, they could now be of age to serve in the same conflict I served in. Scary. Kind of makes me glad I didn't have kids.
