    My father was on a Navy destroyer in the Mediterranean Sea supporting troops chasing Rommel out of North Africa when I was born.

    I was born the same year that Leo was making his two prototype Telecasters, including the one with the tapered headstock three tuners each side version.
    Hence the Telecaster Kid handle, we were both created in the same year. Except I wasn’t a prototype.

    Sorry to hear, and I feel for you. My uncle John contracted the virus just prior to the vaccination coming out. Although it has slowly disabled him more and more throughout his life, he is still an active pedal steel player and guitarist.
