This is my favorite modulation I've ever found. Can you tell me the real life version? Better yet a link so I can give someone money and spend the rest of my days happy. Is it some unobtanium? or is it like "dude that's just a phase 45". Ross phaser? some kinda vibe?

edit I asked this back in the day but added the sound sample

I think I could get that with my EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress flanger pedal.

Sounds like some sort of rotosound which has many versions

It's more of a flange than a phase. You can hear the chorus (doubling) effect in there.

I love it. It's almost a chorus pedal, much more so than other flangers.

I looked up roto sound. A ton of fuzz but the king Henry phaser sounds pretty insane!

First time I heard that was around 1980, outside concert, Evansville Indiana, late(?) summer, Pat Travers. Uni-vibe through a wooden Leslie cabinet. Whirl-tastic!

Not a Ross phaser - a Ross is a lot cooler

    Possible?
I hear more phaser than flanger.
Doesn't have that 'pinched' sound of a typical flanger (to me).
It has the more spacious, open, big analog sound of an old phaser.
    To me, anyway.
You have to find the right places where the guy actually dials in a useable sound.

I also hear a light flanging, not phasing.

Sorry but no idea what it is. I'd point a flanger to you. The Arion above seems very close with depth set low.
