What is this on the back of the headstock?

    This is a trick answer, and you got RK looking the wrong direction. Which is very hard to do, to stump the master.

    I respectfully suggest this, because this type of tuner has a press in bush. There's no nut to be driven with this type of tuner.

    Now, the question is: Is this an genuine mistake, or is it a...

    ringer? :eek:

    It's there to remind you that open string is notated "o" in tablature. :D

    ....or maybe the guitar wanted to get a piercing, and the inspector didn't let it follow through? :lol:
