What is the primary style of music you play with your Tele?

Country, blues, classic rock

 

Hard Jazz or Prog Rock or anything funky that showcases poor musical etiquette while inciting curiosity.

But if I pick it up to mess around, jangly Americana, English blues, punky/thrashy/indie.

 

jazz, but come on the tele can do anything from americana to hardcore modern jazz to metal, it's an all rounder

 

For some reason, whenever I pick up a guitar, it tends to give me something like Piedmont Blues.

I actually got the Tele to play stone country.

But, in its case late at night, it dreams of jazz.

 

tele is the jazz solidbody, it's going to do that. give it what it wants

Even the Esquire wants to sound like a piano if you give it a chance and dial in the amp for the bridge pickup.
Clarity, brilliance, touch sensitivity, honesty, and the ability to snarl like a tenor when pushed...

 

My piano just makes a loud thud when it's pushed

 

Whatever I can steal from Duke Levine, Guthrie Trapp, or Buddy Holgi.

 

Country. I use an LP for the Southern Rock (Skynyrd) that I like to play.
