My friend called me up one night and said " Hey, my neighbor set a Gibson G30 out with the trash" .... so he grabbed it and brought it over. He is a heavy metal kind of guy and likes Splawn and super high gain amps, so he sold it pretty cheap to me.

I think this thing is a 1941 or right in that area. It still works. It has some funky pre amp tubes but I have some extras in my t0ob stash.

Runner up is a Kustom tuck and roll B200 head. I'm not sure of the date on that one ... maybe 1970 and then a 71 Hiwatt

You? .... and does the age present any issues?

    I can't come close to 1941, but I have a stock 75' Princeton Reverb

    It's either a 59 or a 61 Gibson GA79-RV. (I think it's a 59.)

I have a 1938 Gibson EH-150. Got it at a flea market described as "Art Deco Amp". Paid under $100.00 for it and it works. I don't use it very often as it's original and 75 years old, same cord and caps as the day it was new.

One day I opened it to get the dates from the transformer and talk about train wreck wiring...

I have a very dilapidated 1970s WEM Dominator. It should look like this

but the grille cloth and aluminium trim are missing and it's had white paint spilt on it.

    I think (?) it's a 1964 Standel Artist. It's about 25 watts with a 15" Eminence in it. I'm gigging it tonight, in fact.

I've had this 1960 Champ for a long time. I have lots of other great amps, but for me, this is the top of the heap!

'69 AC 30 red top (no top boost or reverb, just trem) and a '71 Hiwatt Custom 100 which I'll be gigging tonight - I use it as a bass amp.
